Sashidhar Jagdishan, HDFC Bank’s MD & CEO, will retire on October 26 after opting out of reappointment. The bank will fast-track his successor’s appointment. Jagdishan spent nearly three decades at HDFC Bank, including overseeing its merger with HDFC Ltd.
